The plant is compact, reaching a height of 65 to 100 cm, and therefore cultivation with support is recommended. The variety is open-pollinated and valued for its high productivity and taste qualities: the pods are juicy, sweet, and without a tough parchment layer.
The variety is suitable for fresh consumption, culinary use, and freezing. Young pods are edible in their entirety; upon reaching full maturity, the seeds can be used like regular peas. Regular harvesting helps to extend the fruiting period.
