The Letin variety belongs to the semi-leafless (afila) type and is characterized by early maturity potential. The plant has purple flowers; the seeds have a mottled light-brown seed coat.
During breeding, special attention was paid to improving lodging resistance. The variety is intended for forage purposes and can be cultivated both independently and in mixtures with wheat or triticale to improve forage quality.
