The variety belongs to the group of wrinkled peas. In terms of maturity, it is mid-season or late, maturing approximately one day later than the Oasis standard.
The yield of the variety in comparative trials was 77–93% of the Oasis figures. The pea size and lodging resistance of LG Stingray are similar to the characteristics of the Oasis variety.
Within the framework of PGRO trials, the variety was included in lists for the evaluation of resistance to downy mildew.
