The Lotta variety was obtained as a result of selection from the Ambrosia variety. The plant belongs to the category of peas for culinary use and is distinguished by the presence of yellow seeds.
Compared to the Torsdags III variety, the Lotta variety showed an average of 5% higher yield, as well as a higher protein content with comparable culinary qualities. The active cultivation period of the variety fell between 1971–1984.
