The variety belongs to the marrowfat or starchy pea type, which are left in the field until fully mature and dry. The plant reaches a height of about 90 cm and possesses very low lodging resistance.
The variety is extremely susceptible to downy mildew, which often requires mandatory fungicidal seed treatment. The seeds are valued for their size and starchy structure suitable for culinary processing, while the yield of the variety may be low.
