Variety description

10 August 2026

Nairobi plants reach a height of 60–80 cm and produce dark green pods 8.5–9 cm long and approximately 1.5 cm wide. The pods lack a parchment layer, making them suitable for whole-pod consumption at the technical maturity stage.

The variety is classified as early-maturing: harvesting can begin 60 days after sowing. Plants possess resistance to powdery mildew. Cultivation is possible both with support and on the ground.

The harvest can be used in cooking, as a snack, or for freezing.
