The variety belongs to the early-maturing group and is characterized by dwarf plants and wrinkled seed shape. Due to its technological qualities, it was widely used in the food industry for canning and freezing purposes.
During field trials of the late 1960s – early 1970s, the variety demonstrated high yield indicators and a grain size suitable for deep processing. It is mentioned in scientific reports of that period as an object of comparative studies on disease resistance, in particular to powdery mildew.
