The pea variety Nordic has medium-sized semi-dome-shaped seeds. This variety has been used in breeding programs as a parental line for the development of other pea varieties, such as Springreen.
The plant possesses resistance to downy mildew. In breeding documentation, the Nordic variety was compared in its characteristics to the Green Belt variety.
