The Avola variety is a compact plant with a height of 50–70 cm. The pods have a dark green color, a slightly curved shape with a pointed tip, and contain 6–8 large peas, the number of which sometimes reaches 9–10.
The plant has moderate resistance to downy mildew and exhibits sufficient plasticity during cultivation, however, it is prone to lodging during the ripening period. The variety is versatile in use, suitable for fresh consumption, freezing, and market production.
