S. A. FLORIMOND DESPREZ VEUVE ET FILS
10 August 2026
The plant is of the semi-leafless type, where leaflets are modified into tendrils, while stipules remain normal. This stem morphology ensures increased lodging resistance and simplifies mechanized harvesting.
The variety is mid-season, with a vegetation period of about 98 days. Seeds are yellow, smooth, with a thousand kernel weight of about 230 g and a protein content of approximately 24%. When harvested under excessively dry conditions, the seeds may be prone to cracking.
The plant has moderate susceptibility to Ascochyta blight and powdery mildew. A specific feature is noted in the form of an antibiotic effect against the pea aphid, which reduces the survival rate and fecundity of the pest.
