WINFRIDA belongs to the marrowfat pea group, which is characterized by a wrinkled seed shape at the biological maturity stage and a sweeter taste compared to smooth-seeded shelling varieties.
During tests for resistance to powdery mildew, the variety showed susceptibility to this disease.
