The variety forms creeping shoots, which provides high regenerative capacity and aggressiveness in the stand under intensive loads. The plant is characterized by very early inflorescence emergence and green leaf blade coloration, the length and color intensity of which depend on the stage of development.

The variety possesses pronounced cold hardiness, continuing growth in late autumn and starting it in early spring, as well as high shade tolerance. In regions with a temperate climate, pink snow mold is the most relevant disease for the species. The development of young plants after sowing occurs slowly.
