The variety is the result of the Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada breeding program and was previously known by the breeding number HW441. The tree reaches a height of 4–5 meters depending on growing conditions and training.
The fruits are medium-sized, have an attractive appearance, and are suitable for the fresh market and commercial supply. The variety is distinguished by disease resistance and good adaptation to growing regions, characteristic of the Goldcot and Veecot varieties.
