The variety was obtained as a result of hybridization carried out in 1973; the elite seedling was selected in 1991. Genetically, the variety belongs to a group of genotypes in whose origin European and Irano-Caucasian forms predominate.

The fruits of the variety are large; the average weight of one fruit reaches 64 g. The variety is intended for industrial introduction and use in breeding.
