Variety description
10 August 2026
The Aprinew variety tree has a semi-upright habit and is distinguished by an intensive flowering type. The variety is self-pollinating and highly productive; however, due to very high fruit set, fruit thinning is recommended to maintain product quality and caliber, which usually corresponds to the 3A class.
The fruit has an attractive appearance with a two-tone skin color consisting of an orange background and a red blush. The fruit flesh is orange, semi-sweet in taste, with a pronounced aroma. The variety has the ability to be stored for a long time without loss of commercial quality.
The plant has good resistance to diseases characteristic of this breeding line. At the same time, the variety is at risk of damage from frosts under unfavorable climatic conditions.
