The variety is one of the earliest commercial apricot varieties. Trees are characterized by very strong growth vigor and an upright branch habit, making them suitable for both traditional orchards and trellis cultivation. The variety is self-incompatible and requires cross-pollination by other early-flowering varieties.

The medium-sized fruits have pink-orange skin and orange flesh with a fine texture. They are of the freestone type, meaning the stone separates easily from the flesh, and have high transportability. The variety is intended for commercial cultivation and sale on the fresh market.
