The fruits of this variety are located primarily in the upper part of the crown. The variety was studied for its suitability for industrial processing, particularly osmotic dehydration, and demonstrated specific indicators of change in mass and dry matter composition.

The variety's genetic material was used in breeding; it is one of the parents of the Romanian variety Carmela. The variety is also mentioned in scientific publications dedicated to studying resistance to Plum pox virus.

Currently, the variety has been excluded from lists of commercially important varieties and is no longer considered significant for large-scale production. This apricot variety should be distinguished from the OHxF series pear rootstocks.
