The Monteporziana tree has medium vigor and an assurgent crown habit. The fruits are medium-sized, with an average weight of about 52 g. The fruit shape is round-oblate, the skin is thin, light orange in color, which becomes more intense at full maturity, and the suture line is deeply marked.

The variety belongs to the medium maturity group, with harvest occurring in the second to third decade of June. The flowering period is late. The yield of the variety is estimated as medium. Historically, the variety is a local cultivar identified in the Lazio region, Italy.
