The variety was obtained as a result of open pollination of the variety Sweetheart. The tree has medium vigor; the crown varies from upright to spreading. The variety is self-fertile and characterized by stable annual fruiting.

Fruits are large or very large, oblate-cordate in shape. The skin is glossy, dark red; the flesh is very firm, red in color, with a moderately sweet taste. Fruits ripen 27 days after the varieties Van and Bing and 8 days later than the variety Sweetheart, demonstrating resistance to rain-induced cracking.
