The variety is a breeding development obtained from open-pollinated seeds of the «Brooks» cherry. The fruits have a reniform shape with broad shoulders and a flat or rounded base. The flesh and skin are dark-red and firm, which ensures good storage characteristics.
The plant exhibits regular productivity and a low to medium chilling requirement (500–700 hours). The variety is self-incompatible (S6S9 alleles). The pedicel is of medium length, thick, holds firmly to the fruit, and retains its green color during storage. The variety was selected for its ability to produce a small number of double fruits.
