The variety is a Duke cherry, resulting from natural hybridization. The tree is characterized by moderate vigor, and the fruits require multiple harvests due to uneven ripening.
The berries are large, purple in color, with yellowish-white flesh and colorless juice. The variety is intended for dessert use, however, it is prone to fungal diseases, in particular moniliosis, under unfavorable weather conditions.
