IP-C7 is a dwarfing rootstock intended for grafting sweet cherry varieties in intensive orchards. Its application facilitates tree maintenance and the harvesting process due to the compactness of the crown.

This rootstock has good compatibility with various Romanian and foreign sweet cherry varieties. Grafting onto IP-C7 ensures significantly lower tree vigor compared to other rootstocks, such as IP-C4 or IP-C5, and can also stimulate the formation of sylleptic shoots.
