The rootstock is a hybrid of the cherry variety Mocăneşti T1 and Prunus subhirtella. It is classified as a semi-vigorous or semi-dwarfing type, promoting early bearing in trees.

The plant exhibits good compatibility with scions and high rooting ability. Resistance of the rootstock to the leaf spot pathogen Blumeriella jaapii has been noted.
