ActivePrunus avium (L.) L. · Sweet cherry

10 August 2026
The variety is a seedling of the Iputj variety from open pollination, originating from a cross between the Leningradskaya chernaya and Pobeda varieties. The trees are characterized by high winter hardiness, which makes them promising for the conditions of North-West Russia and the Baltic countries.
The fruits have an average weight of 6.0–6.5 g and a medium-sized stone. The variety is self-incompatible, but acts as a good pollinator for other sweet cherry varieties such as Bryanochka, Fatezh, and Krasnaya plotnaya. The variety is used both for harvesting and in breeding work.
