Trees of the Irema BS variety are characterized by high growth vigor, reaching a trunk diameter of 11.6 cm by the end of the seventh year in comparative trials on Gisela 5 rootstock. The variety is characterized by high yield efficiency in relation to trunk cross-sectional area.
The fruits contain a very high level of soluble solids (up to 20.2%) and a significant amount of anthocyanins. Genetically, the variety is classified as having the self-incompatibility genotype S2S9.
