The variety is early-maturing, with harvest occurring approximately 3 days before the Brooks variety. The tree requires 300 to 500 chill hours. The plant has universal pollination compatibility and grafts well onto Mazzard and Prunus mahaleb seedling rootstocks.

The fruit is large, 28 to 30 mm in diameter, and is characterized by a bicolored skin. The minimum sugar content is 17º Brix. The variety is distinguished by high resistance to fruit cracking after rainfall; disease resistance is medium.
