Variety description

10 August 2026

The tree has high vigor and an upright crown shape, characterized by early flowering. The variety is self-incompatible and requires pollinators, while demonstrating good compatibility with Prunus avium and Prunus mahaleb rootstocks.

The fruit ripens very early, 3–5 days ahead of the Brooks variety. It has a medium size of about 25.1 mm and a reniform shape. The skin color is an intense dark red, almost dark mahogany with a purple hue. The fruit flesh is quite firm, moderately acidic, with a distinct flavor.

The variety is characterized by high resistance to fruit cracking from rain and a low level of double fruit formation. Disease resistance corresponds to typical indicators for the species Prunus avium.
