The variety belongs to the bigarreau sweet cherry group. The tree forms a vigorous crown with strong gray-brown shoots. Flowering occurs regularly, but later than in most varieties. The plant is characterized by high winter hardiness, which allows it to be grown in mountainous and foothill regions.

The fruits are large, dark red, almost black in color, with firm flesh and a long peduncle. The taste is sweet and spicy, and the juice has a dark color. The cherry is resistant to cracking during rainy weather, has good transportability, and remains fresh on the tree for a long time. The variety is partially self-fertile and suitable both for fresh consumption and for processing.
