The tree is characterized by low vigor, with branches sometimes taking on a horizontal-drooping habit. Fruits have a mass of 7.5–8 g and a diameter of about 22 mm, and are resistant to cracking during heat treatment. The variety is an early-flowering type, with fruiting occurring on May bouquets and branches of medium length.
The variety is self-incompatible. For pollination, the varieties Cetățuia, Rivan, Amar Maxut, Boambe de Cotnari, and Marina are recommended. Sensitivity of plants to fruit rot Monilinia fructigena is noted. The variety is distributed mainly in the northeastern region of Romania.
