The variety is characterized by specific morphological traits typical of local Mallorca varieties: a low fruit weight of about 1.3 g, a size of about 21 mm, a dark skin, and a soft texture. The fruits have a pronounced benzaldehyde aroma.
In the framework of scientific research, the variety was tested for susceptibility to the bacterium Xylella fastidiosa, which causes almond leaf scorch, and was also studied for susceptibility to fungal diseases, in particular Diaporthe amygdali.
