The variety is intended for industrial cultivation and possesses the property of self-compatibility, which allows for the omission of pollinator varieties. The tree is medium-sized, moderately vigorous, with a crown shape ranging from semi-upright to spreading, with a tendency to develop lateral shoots and spur branches.
Harvesting occurs simultaneously with or earlier than the Nonpareil variety. The fruits have a semi-soft shell with a kernel turnout of 60–65%. The kernels are light-colored, smooth, larger than those of the Nonpareil variety, and vary from 20/22 to 24/25 nuts per ounce. Resistance to navel orangeworm damage and good nut flavor are noted.
