The tree is characterized by high growth vigor and an upright crown shape with wrinkled bark on the trunk. The variety is self-fertile, but due to a very early flowering period, it is prone to unstable yields caused by spring frosts.

The fruits ripen in August–September and have a hard, thick, and porous shell that easily separates from the hull. The kernels are round in shape, medium-sized, covered with a dark brown wrinkled skin, and are distinguished by a very sweet taste and a high proportion of double kernels.

The kernel yield is 28–30%. Due to its sweet taste and high oil content, the variety is used in confectionery production, particularly for making pralines.
