Fruits of the Astro 2 variety have a round, symmetrical shape with a barely noticeable protrusion at the apex and a superficial suture. The skin of the fruit is medium-pubescent, light yellow in color with a bright red blush, which covers about 80% of the surface.
The peach flesh is yellow, of medium density. The stone is freestone, and the flesh itself is characterized as clingstone or firm.
