The variety is a seedling historically distributed in the area of Acquaviva delle Fonti, province of Bari. The fruits have an average weight of 80–100 g and an ovoid, asymmetric shape. The skin is of medium thickness and covered with pubescence, the ground color is cream-green with a dull pink-red overcolor.
The cream-white flesh is characterized by moderate density, compactness and low fibrousness. The stone is small in size, ovoid in shape, and very strongly attached to the flesh. The variety is traditionally used for processing.
