The rootstock is a hybrid of peach and almond. It was bred by crossing the almond variety «Sultán» and a peach seedling from California.
This rootstock is characterized by vigorous growth and good compatibility with cultivated peach varieties. It is adapted to arid conditions and soils with high calcium carbonate content. At the same time, the plant does not tolerate heavy or waterlogged soils, on which it is susceptible to gummosis.
