The variety is maintained in the Nikitsky Botanical Gardens collection and is mentioned in scientific publications dedicated to the biochemical evaluation and phytosanitary monitoring of stone fruit crops.

During studies focused on the Plum pox virus, plants of the «Dostoinyi» variety showed symptoms of the disease on the flowers.
