The variety is a sport of the 'May Grand' variety. The fruits are large, with yellow firm flesh and skin with a red blush over a dark yellow or light orange background. The flesh is clingstone.

The variety belongs to the early maturity group, ripening approximately two weeks earlier than the parent variety. Due to a low chilling requirement (about 250 chill hours), it is suitable for cultivation in subtropical conditions. The variety's productivity and fruit firmness allow it to be used for commercial purposes and export.
