The variety Jerseyglo (NJ 244) was obtained by crossing Jefferson × Loring. The tree is characterized by vigorous growth and high productivity; flowers are large, rose-shaped. Flowering occurs three days earlier than in the Loring variety.
The fruits have a round shape and reach 8 cm in diameter. The yellow skin is covered with a bright red blush on 60–80% of the surface. The flesh is yellow, firm and melting, the stone separates completely. The variety has moderate resistance to bacterial spot and medium frost resistance of flower buds.
