The tree has a vertical or spreading crown type and reaches a height of up to 4.5 meters. The variety is self-fertile and does not require pollinators to form a crop. The fruits are large, have an oval shape, and pale yellow skin with a dark crimson or reddish-brown blush.
The fruit flesh is white, tender, juicy, with a pronounced aroma; the pit separates easily from the flesh. The variety is susceptible to leaf curl and, due to early flowering in March, is prone to damage by spring frosts, which often requires cultivation under cover or near sheltered walls.
