The Luisella variety tree forms a large, strong, semi-spreading crown. Flowering begins early, at the end of January or the beginning of February. The variety is self-fertile and demonstrates resistance to a number of common stone fruit diseases, including plum pox, moniliosis, and bacterial infections.
The fruits have a flat shape, characteristic of the platicarpa group, and reach an average size of 64–70 mm in diameter. The fruit flesh is white and characterized by high density. Externally, the fruits are colored an intense dark red; the skin is clean and has no defects.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
