The tree has good vigor, with a spreading crown shape in the lower part and a more upright one in the upper part. The fruits are medium-sized, rounded, often with a pronounced protrusion; the skin acquires a reddish hue upon ripening.
The fruit flesh is white, often with red streaks near the pit, sweet and aromatic. The fruit ripening period falls in August or early September.
The variety is susceptible to leaf curl and powdery mildew. It has historically been actively used in horticulture, including for forcing in greenhouses and training on espaliers.
