The Maillarime variety, also known as BELLERIME®, is a product of the Agro Selection Fruits breeding program. Since 1986, this program has been focused on breeding varieties with high sugar content, balanced acidity, and long shelf life.
During long-term observations conducted in France from 2009 to 2020, this variety was identified as having reduced susceptibility to brown rot (Monilia spp.), which allows it to be considered a promising option for environmentally oriented production.
