The name "Monna" is recorded in the documentation of the International Union for the Protection of New Varieties of Plants (UPOV) as an example of a peach variety. It is established that the fruits of this variety are characterized by very low acidity.
Detailed morphological descriptions of this variety are absent in open publications. Horticultural literature suggests the possibility of an error or confusion with other names, in particular with the American variety "Manon" or varieties bred by René Monteux-Caillet starting with "Mon-".
