The Nectaking variety tree has high growth vigor and forms vertically directed branches with narrow crotch angles. The fruit ripening period is mid-season; under French conditions, it occurs in the second half of July.
The round fruits are covered with smooth, firm skin, which is 80–95% colored dark red. The yellow-orange flesh is distinguished by high sugar content, good aroma, and a freestone pit. Technical documentation notes the variety's susceptibility to pear scab.
