The variety Netix 35, also known by the identifiers vifna 1 44 or vifna 2 74, is a hybrid of Prunus cerasifera × Prunus persica. Its primary purpose is to be used as a rootstock for forming the root system of grafted fruit trees.
Detailed morphological characteristics of the plant, such as disease resistance or fruit taste qualities, are absent from available sources. In official documents, the variety is clearly classified as a rootstock crop, despite the presence of the word Netix in the commercial names of some peach and nectarine varieties.
