The tree is of medium size and vigor with an open crown; branches can be upright or drooping. Leaves are medium-large with a wavy margin and reniform glands. Flowers are rose-shaped, medium-sized.
Fruits are oval and asymmetrical. Skin is yellow with an intense red blush. Flesh is soft, melting, yellow, of medium fibrousness, with intense pigmentation around the pit. The pit separates poorly. The taste is aromatic, with an average sugar and acid content.
An early-maturing variety; in Italy, fruits ripen by mid-July. It belongs to the category of local varieties of interest for the conservation of biodiversity.
