The fruits have pubescent dark red skin and red, juicy, and aromatic flesh characteristic of this type of peach, with a pronounced balance of sugar and acid. The variety is intended for fresh consumption and culinary processing, but it shows sensitivity to peach leaf curl (Taphrina deformans) and brown rot (Monilinia).
