The variety belongs to the group of peaches for industrial processing (clingstone). In scientific literature, it is most often mentioned as an object of breeding research and adaptability testing in various ecological conditions.
A distinctive characteristic of the genotype is low susceptibility or tolerance to peach leaf curl, caused by the fungus Taphrina deformans. Due to this trait, the variety is widely used in breeding programs for crossing in order to obtain offspring resistant to this disease.
