The Honey Moon tree is characterized by high vigor and a semi-upright canopy type. Fruiting occurs on spurs and shoots; the variety enters production quickly and is noted for its high yield. Flowering is abundant; Crimson Glo, Harry Pickstone, Sapphire, and Angeleno are recommended as pollinizers.
The fruits have a round, slightly flattened shape and medium size (50–60 mm). The skin color is greenish-yellow, the flesh is yellow, melting, with a sugar content of about 13° Brix, and the pit is clingstone. The variety is late-ripening, and the fruits possess excellent keeping quality during storage.
