The variety is a selection of Japanese-type plum, which may be a complex interspecific hybrid. It is intended exclusively for the production of commercial produce supplied to the market in fresh form and is not oriented toward industrial processing.

The variety belongs to incompatibility group IV with genotype SbSh, which has been confirmed by studies using PCR analysis. It is included in international fresh fruit quality standards and is mentioned in official registers as a commercial variety for professional horticulture.
